DOAH sets free admin law and environmental regulation CLE for Tampa January 29

The day concludes with a session on, “Effective Expert Witness Testimony,” presented by Administrative Law Judge Jodi-Ann Livingstone

A four-hour CLE covering a range of topics pertinent to administrative law and environmental regulation is planned for January 29 at Southwest Florida Water Management District office in Tampa.

Sponsored by the Division of Administrative Hearings and the Bar’s Administrative Law Section, the 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. event is free and open to all.

The agenda includes an introduction to SWFWMD and its three main program areas, presented by Deputy General Counsel Elizabeth Fernandez and agency program area managers. The next sessions address the agency’s rulemaking obligations relevant to Florida’s water resources and includes a stormwater management demonstration guided by Chief Engineer Martin Russum.

The day concludes with a session on, “Effective Expert Witness Testimony,” presented by Administrative Law Judge Jodi-Ann Livingstone. The Administrative Law Section happy hour will follow at the Coppertail Brewing Co.
