HUMANITARIAN NEWS – Bolivia Donates $2 million in rice to Cuba

In humanitarian news, Bolivia assists Cuba with a US$2 million donation in rice. The 3,000 metric tons of rice is to help the island nation’s recovery from crop damage caused by extreme weather events in 2008. The first 500,000 kilograms has been delivered with plans for 60,000 bags of rice to be sent per month. Our thankfulness and Heaven’s blessings, Bolivia, for your commitment to the well-being of the residents of Cuba. May we continue to care for our brothers and sisters in need in all countries to ensure a loving and secure world.
