Special Election: Proposed Amendments to City’s Charter

The City of Sunny Isles Beach will hold a Special Election on Proposed Amendments to the City’s Charter on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Polling Places will be open from 7 am – 7 pm. Voters must vote at their assigned precinct. Bring your voter information card and a photo ID. To find your assigned precinct please refer to your voter information card or look it up at miamidade.gov/elections.

Voter Registration

The deadline to register to vote in the Special Election is Monday, April 24, 2023.

Vote-by-Mail Ballots

The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is Saturday, May 13, 2023. Vote-by-mail ballots must be received by Miami-Dade County Elections by 7 pm on Election Day.

Polling Location Changes

The Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections (SOE) has temporarily changed the polling location for Precincts 002 and 003.

These changes will take effect for the upcoming May 23 Special Election.  Registered voters in these precincts can expect to receive a “Temporary Polling Place” card to use when voting.
