National Night Out

As part of our Sunny Isles Beach Police Department’s community policing initiative, we are celebrating National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1 with a parade and activities for kids at Gateway Park.

Activities at Gateway Park will begin at 5:30 PM and include DJ music, activities, inflatables, food and public safety vehicles on display. The parade procession through the city will start at 7:30 AM.

The parade procession of police, fire and ocean rescue vehicles through the city will begin at 7:30 PM.

Free parking is available in the Gateway Park garage.  The SIBshuttle provides free transportation within city limits.

Register to Receive a Treat!

Youth ages 0-17 who pre-register will receive a free ice cream treat.

The first 100 youth to pre-register will also receive a free t-shirt.

Event is free and open to everyone. Pre-registration is not required.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
