According to material in the public domain, a partnership between Airbus Defence and Space and Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) will manufacture 40 planes in India within 10 years of the contract’s signing. Within 48 months of the contract’s signing, Airbus Defence and Space will deliver the remaining 16 aircraft in flyaway condition.
